CHARLOTTE, N.C.,\u00a0Aug. 03, 2021\u00a0(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —\u00a0SPX Corporation\u00a0(\u201cSPX\u201d) (NYSE: SPXC) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of\u00a0Enterprise Control Systems Ltd\u00a0(\u201cECS\u201d). Headquartered near\u00a0Northampton, UK, ECS is a leader in the design and manufacture of highly-engineered tactical datalinks and radio frequency (RF) countermeasures, including counter-drone and counter-IED RF jammers.<\/p>\n

ECS\u2019s results will be reported as part of SPX\u2019s Communications Technology (\u201cCommTech\u201d) platform within its Detection & Measurement segment.\u00a0SPX anticipates updating 2021 guidance to reflect ECS when reporting Q2 2021 results on\u00a0August 5th<\/sup>, and currently anticipates that, in the near-term, ECS will contribute annualized revenue of approximately\u00a0$14 million. ECS is expected to be accretive to Detection & Measurement segment margin once fully integrated.<\/p>\n
